Reluctantly the time has come for my beautiful Colnago to find a new home and that the lucky owner enjoy her as much as I did! What you see here is a Vintage, Rare, Classic Italian, Road Racing Machine. Stunning Original paint job, she is classified as a 49cm Frame and measures 19.25" inches from center of bottom bracket to center of top tube. 20.5" top tube center to center. Handmade in Italy at Ernesto Colnago's world renowned factory. Features Colnago's exclusive Columbus Gilco diamond shaped tubing with internal top tube cable routing, classic chrome lugs and straight bladed precisa fork! As you can see by my pictures she has been meticulously cared for, minor paint chips and scratches normal from use, but otherwise in fantastic condition!
Comes complete with famous Rolf Sestriere wheel set! Mounted with CST Ultra Speed blue clincher tires. Built around a complete Shimano Dura Ace 8-speed group, with polished cranks and uniquely drilled brake levers. Just returned from a $200 performance tuneup at the bike shop, so she has brand new chain, bar wrap, cables and cable housing, as well as complete lubrication and adjustments, in other words, ready to ride as soon as you get her! She is pictured with pedals but these will not be included in final sale as I still need them and the old 7700's are rarely used anymore. Also has Selle Italia Titanium rail Flite saddle, ITM 113cm Stem with matching Italia pro 225gm 42cm Handlebars. TA Blue anodized 53-39 chainrings, also have a matching 42. Original owner, never been crashed or ridden in the rain, she was my proud sunny sunday ride!
If this bike calls out to you don't hesitate on owning a true legend. A time when craftsmanship meant something and professional racing bikes had mystique and you knew who the builder was. You can immediately sense the spirit and care under which she was crafted and are proud to own not just a piece of history, but a bike that will set you apart from the cooked and baked carbon frame crowd, which all come from molds from a handful of overseas factories, were any number of people apply different decals before being shipped to their respective sellers. Always gets compliments whenever I take her out so be prepared for the same! Any questions please don't hesitate to ask! lucky buyer will not be disappointed! Thank you for looking!
