Hello! I am finally and regretfully selling my beautiful Torelli road bicycle. Although this bike has been really great to me, I am trying to simplify my life and the bike is a bit small for me. The bike is 58 cm, comes with pretty much all campy components, STI shifters, and a Brooks saddle. The frame is made from Columbus Zona tubing--an alloy of Nivacrom (steel containing Vanadium and Niobium). It is a complete bike with all working parts and ready to ride the streets immediately. The bike is a true pleasure to ride physically and aesthetically, and it just may make you feel like you're in that old movie "Breaking Away." 1974 - 75 Ellis Briggs frame bought from Cyclecraft in Portland, OR in 1974 or 75 (can't remember exact date), built up with Campagnolo NR parts, less than 1000 miles on it, I'm the original owner. Frame is Reynolds 531 frame and fork with Campagnolo drop outs with fender eyelets, seat tube approx 19.5" (49.5cm) ctc or 20.0" (50.8cm) ctt, top tube approx 21.5" (54.6cm) ctc, angles are relaxed touring geometry. The bike is in excellent condition and comes with another set of vintage Weinmann rims and Stella spokes. Asking $1800. Top of the Motobécane line in '71. Reynolds 531 double-butted, NO crash damage and amazing original paint & decals. I promise this is the prettiest original paint blue/white Le Champion you'll ever see. Forged Campagnolo dropouts, and relaxed (by modern standards) race geometry. Campagnolo Record, Stronglight, Brooks Pro, Universal 61 brakes. All original with exception of later '70s "drillium" Mafac brake levers (and bar tape, tires). This is a very cool, highly collectible, high-end vintage lightweight; no junk. -56cm seat tube.
