Here we have a vintage ATALA Italian Road Bike
Judging from the components below it is estimated to be circa 1950's -1960's
Simplex Down tube Shifter Lever - "Simplex LJ Made in Italy" go figure .....most Simplex were made in France
Simplex Competition Front Derailluer aka the "Suicide Shifter" also stamped "Simplex made in Italy"
(Chain guide on Front Derailluer is is Cyclo Made in England)
Rear derailluer is a Huret Allivit
Rear brake is Chrome and stamped Atala
Nice Atala Head badge
Frame is straight Fork Crown is Chrome
Steel lugged frame 21.5" ct
Paint is scratched up
Has some more modern parts on it as well.
Needs TLC / restoration
