Vintage track bike built by the famous Viner Cycles for Riggio Importers, upstate NY. Full Campagnolo Record/ Shimano Dura Ace groupo.

Top tube measurement is 59cm, but being a vintage construction, it sounds bigger than it really is. I'm 5'11" and it fits me perfectly. Ideal for someone between 5'10" and 6'2"

Campy Record headset
Shimano Dura Ace seat post
Campy Record Crank (with a shop "look alike" non-drive side replacement crank)
Dura Ace 48t chainring
17t fixed cog w/ Phil locknut
Continental Ultra Gator Skin tyres
Gamma Strada rims
MKS pedals with navy Toshi leather straps
Origin8 riser bars with Oury grips (nice n short for traffic weaving)

Not tooled for brakes; this is a true track bike.

Unique, beautiful, rare and an incredibly smooth and enjoyable ride.

Ideally, I'd like to find a similar bike and trade, but I'm open to selling it or trading with cash difference.

2011 Bianchi Imola with Beautiful Upgrades Size 51 - NEW

2011 Bianchi Imola with Beautiful Upgrades Size 51 - NEW - $1400 (Lower East Side)

Reply to: mp6xt-3038118053@sale.craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I am selling a gorgeous 2011 Bianchi Imola in Celeste green, size 51, which is very hard to find these days.

I'm a bike technician and this beast is TUNED, ready to ride and in NEW CONDITION. It's a real head turner.

This model and color (traditional Celeste) sold out early in the year (2011) because of its quality and aesthetics. The latest Imola is Iris Blue and why anyone would get a Bianchi in any color other than Celeste is beyond me.

It was purchased at a local bike shop, I have all receipts. It was just tuned again for the new riding season and its next owner.
The frame is size 51 and the seat has been upgraded to a beautiful handmade ostrich leather seat (valued at $300 plus) that goes above and beyond Brooks saddles (see: http://www.used-hq.de/used-website/english/products/SelleAn-Atomica/selleOstrich.html). The handlebar tape has also been updated to a honey colored brown leather, the platform pedals are alloy, the tires have been upgraded as well to Panaracer Pasela Tourguards, which are excellent for touring, road and city biking. They also have a vintage look. I've put a waterbottle clip in as well as top-lever brakes for upright riding. The seat has also been secured to the bike as a precaution against theft. All components on this bike are brand new and the bike itself only has about 50 miles on it. It has been very well taken care of and there are no marks or scratches or scuffs on it whatsoever. It looks like it just came out of the shop (and it basically did).

The bike cost me over $1900 with upgrades (seat alone is worth over $300) , but I'm selling for 1400.

Only Serious inquiries, so please do your research before you see the bike, so that when you see it, you are ready to make a purchase.

Thank you!

87' Emrin - Handbuilt 1 of a kind frame, complete build

87' Emrin - Handbuilt 1 of a kind frame, complete build - $1400 (Financial District)

Reply to: bjt3d-3033954215@sale.craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

This frame was hand-built by a shop in Belgium called Emrin Cycles, from the info I've collected from the past owner, he was the 3rd one to own it and it was built in 87'. It was built using high quality Reynolds 531 tubing. It has a top tube of 55.5 and a seat tube of 58. Great for people with long legs and shorter torso's. I truly find it to be the quintessential track geometry.

The lugs on this frame are gorgeous. The are simple, filed down to be very thin, and I think elegant.

It was originally a baked flat white with a chrome rear triangle and fork, but it's days were numbered as it was definitely showing it's age.. Also the head tube had some oval-ing and there are some slight dings in the top tube.

The frame and fork are dead straight, no signs of any major accident I was told. The bike shop that did most of the work speculated that the head tube had most likely ovaled out from being ridden too lose for too long with a lack of maintenance.

Cycle Smithy in Chicago did the repair work on the head tube by melting brass inside and re-milling the head tube. Paint was done by Chester Cycles of Chicago, Duane (@Chester) uses all water based eco-friendly paints. The current color is Titanium Grey Metallic with a chrome rear triangle and fork.

The paint was gorgeous, but of course life happens and it does have some signs of being locked up to random things and getting scratched in some places. Over all it's still gorgeous and I get compliments on it CONSTANTLY... even from people who pay little attention to bikes, it really is stunning.

I am only selling because I moved to Berlin and probably won't return for a while.

The components are as follows...

Frame - 87' Emrin custom frame built from Reynolds 531 tubing. - $1350 (This includes the cost of restoring the frame as well)
Fork - I believe this fork was a stock track fork as I have seen this same one on many vintage track frames.
Headset - Chris King Grip Nut 1" threaded - $140
Stem - Nitto Pearl 8 (80mm) NJS 1" threaded quill stem - $80
Bars - Generic riser - $30
Grips - Oury - $10
Saddle - NOS Selle San Marco Concor Supercorsa Black suede - $120
Seatpost - Shimano aero 26.6 (weird size) - $45
Cranks - Campagnolo Record 165mm with Campagnolo 49t chain ring - $300
Bottom Bracket - Phil Wood - $180
Chain - HKK Vertex NJS - $90
Rear Cog - Phil Wood 18t - $60
Pedals - MKS GR9 Platform Road - $25
Toe Clips - Soma - $30
Toe Clip Straps - Cinneli Binda (Dyed black) - $50
Wheels - Campagnolo Record Low Flange Hubs laced 3X to NOS Super Champion Arc En Ciel (Rainbow) tubular rims using DT Swiss double butted spokes. - $970
Tires - Continental Gator Skin (Rear), Vittoria Sprinter (Front) - $80

TOTAL BUILD - $3560

This bike rides like a dream. The only thing I'd do is buy a new front tire, it works... but it's on it's way out.

The components alone are worth the purchase. Could easily be parted out for what's needed and sell the rest... even make money.

The bike is no longer in the Financial District, it's at my girlfriends in Park Slope, so you would be dealing with her in the end.

Please email with any questions you may have.

Thanks!

Collectors Vintage Team FAT CHANCE City Cycles YO EDDY Mountain Bike

Collectors Vintage Team FAT CHANCE City Cycles YO EDDY Mountain Bike⎷ - $1999 (or Trade, in Brooklyn)

Date: 2012-05-30, 12:16PM EDT
Reply to: gpwfz-3002878080@sale.craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Selling a piece of Mountain Bike history!
A collectors Chris Chance designed and built Fat City Cycles - Team Fat Chance YO EDDY hardtail Mountain Bike
The legendary "YO" is arguably the best steel hard tail frame ever produced, and comes in the very rare & gorgeous Aquamarine fade ( Aqua fade ) paint job.
This bike is a real treasure of a find.

Hand built by the original Fat crew in Somerville, Massachusetts in 1993 (a year before the company was sold and moved to Saratoga, NY, and lost its prized welders) this much sought after bike is rated super highly on websites such as MTBR and Fatcogs.
If you're not in the know, just google Yo Eddy and you'll find countless other websites raving about this bike, it magic ride properties, and its company.
The only problem is that it was a small company and made a very limited run of these handmade, and therefore very expensive frames, right here in the good ol' USA... not that cheap Chinese junk! Hachoospecialized!

Made from True Temper Quad Butted 4130 chromoly tubing.
Nothing rides like steel, and this frame is the best!

Comes in M/L (Medium - Large) size (approximately an 18" ), with a full Shimano Deore XT group.
24 speeds, V-Brakes, recently tuned up... the bike is Very Good \ Good Condition.
A few ubiquitous paint chips and scratches here and there, but nothing that you wouldn't expect on a CLASSIC bike that was lovingly ridden for close to 20 years.
Other TOP of the line components and UPGRADED period parts include...
Rock Shox Judy suspension fork (recently rebuilt).
Shimano XTR Crankset!
Nuke Proof Stem.
Michelin Wildgripper Lite kevlar tires (like new).
Ritchey WCS headset, handlebar, and bar-ends.
Shimano Clipless Pedals
Vetta TT Saddle (Made in Italy)
Mavic 517 rims, laces with DT Smith spokes to XT hubs.
White Industries stainless spindle & sealed bearing bottom bracket.
Even has the original Fat Chance "Toothpics" anti chain suck thingies on the bottom of the BB.

The only reason I'm selling this bike is because I've been having issues with my back, and can no longer handle the racing bike position, and lack of rear suspension.
Therefore I am looking to sell this Classic Vintage collectors bike, or willing to trade for a late model high-end full suspension bikes in a Large\19" size, preferably a 29er, which I want to give a try.
Feel free to shoot me an email with your suggestions.

Otherwise I'm asking $1999 for this collectors dream mountain bike.
Will consider reasonable offers.

Feel free to email me for more info, or to check out the bike.
Happy Riding! :)
